DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO TURKEY VACATION RENTAL
DALAMAN AIRPORT TO VILLAS KADYANDA & LATONA
Leave Dalaman Airport and head to Antalya and Fethiye on the D400 for about 40 minutes (after 20 minutes you need 2.5YTL for a toll tunnel). When approaching Fethiye, after a Toyota Garage on your left, signs point right to Fethiye - ignore these and carry on the D400 to Antalya where the road becomes a dual carriageway. After about 3km you see signs for Denizli and Uzumlu and Cadianda pointing to the left. Click for Map
Turn left at this traffic light controlled roundabout and follow the road that climbs steeply through a forest for about 10km. The road levels out and then becomes a dual carriageway then 1.5km further on is a right turn at a roundabout signed to Uzumlu village and Cadianda. Now select your Villa and follow the directions below:-
FOR VILLA KADYANDA carry on past this turning on the dual carriageway for about 1.5km to a roundabout where the dual carriageway stops. Take the 2nd roundabout exit onto a dirt road (the 3rd exit is the continuing main road to Denizli). Follow the dirt road for 1.5km, you pass two small farm houses on your left and then see a wire fence on your left which you follow until it turns left. You then turn left and drop down a steep dirt path to two villas, the right hand one is Villa Kadyanda, painted yellow-ochre.
FOR VILLA LATONA turn right towards Uzumlu village and after 400m turn left at the Mosque and follow this road through the village, the road tiling ends outside the village and then you pass a cemetery on your left and a large fenced house on your right. Next you see a new estate of villas being built on the mountainside to your left, pass the entrance to these and then within 100m turn right onto a dirt track over a culvert. Follow the dirt track for 250m, bearing slightly to the left and passing five villas on your left to reach detached holidayVilla Latona which is painted yellow-ochre. The distance from the mosque in Uzumlu to the villa is about 2km.
TURKEY VACATION VILLAS TO FETHIYE
Go back down the dual carriageway and the main steep road until you reach the roundabout junction with the D400. At these traffic lights turn left and follow the D400 for 3km, passing The Gold Centre and a Filling Station and then turn right at traffic lights. Follow this road for about 2km, turning right at 1st roundabout, then over a bridge passing a Mosque on your left and then turn right at at the next roundabout.
Follow this straight road for about 5km to Fethiye centre. If you keep to the right where the road divides near the harbour you find a pay 'Ottopark' on your right opposite the Garanti Bank. This is convenient for the shopping centre, market area and the harbour front. To return, exit car park left and then follow one way system for 400m until it divides, keep to the right side of divide and then go straight through a few traffic lights until you end up on the road you came in on.
TURKEY VACATION VILLAS TO OVACIK, HISARONU, OLU DENIZ & LETOON HOSPITAL
Follow some of the Fethiye instructions. While going down the straight road to Fethiye and after about 3km from the Mosque/roundabout you see a large sign on the right for a store TESPO which is just after a Filling Station on the left. Take 2nd left, within 100m of TESPO sign, at a large green building on the left. (Note: The first turn on the left after the filling station leads to the Letoon Hospital).
Follow this road for 1km up hill to traffic lights, cross the lights and carry on this road up a steep winding hill. At the top of the hill is a Filling Station on the left and this is the beginning of Ovacik. Continue for 2km to a roundabout, straight on is Hisaronu and left leads to Olu Deniz. If you wish to wander through the shops in Hisaronu there is a car park to the right of the roundabout. If you turn left towards Olu Deniz the road goes steeply downhill until you reach the town. Parking is limited but turn left at the 1st or 2nd road after it levels out and you can normally find somewhere.
TURKEY VACATION VILLAS TO CALIS BEACH
Go down the main steep road to the D400 and cross the traffic lights. Carry on for about 2km to a T junction and turn right on main road, after about 1km turn left and follow this road to Calis Beach. Calis consists of beachfront bars and restaurants behind the 5km shingle beachfront. There are water taxis going to Fethiye harbour and nearby is a good water park. |
